Accent28 Dance Academy has been running for 8 years. Our principal teacher Mrs Kerry Davies is a fully qualified teacher with the International Dance teachers Association, and a certified teacher with the Acrobatic Arts. Kerry is first aid trained and all our teachers are DBS checked. Kerry started dancing at the age of 3, upon leaving school she studied contemporary dance and gained a BTEC national diploma in Dance and performing Arts. At the age of 18 Kerry was awarded a full scholarship award for SLP performers college. Kerry went on to teach in many different dance schools and worked as a dance teacher in a secondary school before opening her own dance school. She has a wealth of knowledge of how to train dancers safely with 20 years teaching experience. "We love seeing our pupil’s progress and feel proud to maintain our 100% pass rate for examinations. Dancing is more than just leaning the moves; it’s a place to make friendships that will last a life time, a place to build confidence that will help throughout every aspect in life and a place where you are part of a team". Here at Accent28 Dance Academy we believe in all our pupils and encourage them all to be the best that they can be.

We are excited to welcome Daniella to our team, Daniella will be bringing her knowledge and experience of ballet into our classes. She is fantastic with the children and we believe will be a real asset to our school. Daniella started dancing at the very young age of two years old and took part in lots of competitions and dance shows as a young child. When she was eight years old she auditioned for the royal ballet junior associates. At the age of 11 she was accepted and awarded a full scholarship for Elmhurst school of dance (in association with the Birmingham Royal Ballet). In her second year at the school, she was chosen to dance with the Birmingham royal ballet company The school offered her many opportunities including performing for royalty, meeting lots of inspiring people and being a part of many performances.
